Sheaumann Laser, Inc. specializes in the design and manufacture of semiconductor laser diodes and custom modules for sensing, imaging, telecom, navigation, and illumination applications for a variety of markets including space, military, medical, industrial, and environmental. In-house wafer growth, processing, and packaging capabilities provide custom solutions for demanding projects of any size, at any wavelength from 780nm to 1070nm, with an expanded range up to 1875nm coming in 2021. Sheaumann Laser, Inc. is a privately held corporation founded in 2005 by Jim Hsieh, co-owner of Lasertron and pioneer in the packaged semiconductor industry. In 2015, Sheaumann merged with Axcel Photonics, adding epitaxial growth and wafer processing capabilities to Sheaumann's design and packaging competencies, making it one of the few vertically-integrated laser manufacturers in the U.S.
