New spectrometer detects elusive Raman signatures

Ocean Insight, the applied spectral knowledge company, introduces the QE Pro-Raman+ spectrometer for 785 nm Raman excitation applications. The QE Pro-Raman+ provides 3x sensitivity improvement compared with similar spectrometers and unlocks more Raman signature data with its expanded spectral range (150 cm^-1 to 3000 cm^-1).

With enhanced sensitivity and industry-leading, low-noise electronics, the TEC-cooled QE Pro-Raman+ provides ultra-low limits of detection at faster speeds than ever for applications including chemical and pharmaceuticals analysis, virus detection, illicit drug discovery and pesticides detection, and organic materials analysis. When combined with Ocean Insight’s surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrates and Ocean Intelligence machine learning, the QE Pro-Raman+ can perform trace level material identification and even determine quantitative concentration levels.
