Company
APE GmbH was founded in 1992 by Jan Popien, Thomas Lindemann and Edlef Buettner. The two engineers and the physicist with their longstanding experience in laser technology started off by designing a user-friendly autocorrelator for scientific applications. Since then APE has developed an extensive product range of accessoiries for the ultrafast laser market. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, the company now employs 45 people and sells its products partly directly, partly via distributors in over 40 countries. Development, design and manufacturing from one source allows APE to very flexibly meet the requirements of its customers. High quality standards, close contact with the customers and the knowledge and commitment of the APE team are the foundation for of the company's success. Today the company is one of the international market leaders in ultrafast diagnosis. The complete product range offers everything from autocorrelators, acoustooptical instruments and spectrometers to optical parametric oscillators (OPOs).
