Inexpensive lenses for advanced imaging
Using an approach that combines 3D printing, silicone molding and a UV curable clear resin, researchers fabricated an inexpensive lenslet array, which they used for super-resolution imaging in a multifocal structured illumination microscope. The individual lenslet laser beams are distinguishable in the image. Credit: Ralf Bauer, University of Strathclyde.
